From camera lenses to turntables M*Knight is known as a multifaceted individual who has turned his passions into a career. With his love for music, photography, motion graphics, and mid-century inspired media he takes his admiration for these visual elements to create his own works of art. His fascination for music became evident in his early years of college where M*Knight would moonlight as a DJ and party promoter. Fast forwarding to his current hometown of Dallas, TX he was able to learn and elevate his skill set with the help of other local DJs. Along with many years of dedication to his craft, since 2005 he has now played at countless venues, clubs, and openings for concerts. M*Knight thrived on the emotions and joy that he could bring his audience but later noticed that it was not being portrayed in many of the photos he saw afterwards. Determined to find a resolution in 2009 he decided to step behind the camera himself to truly capture those same moments he so avidly wanted to share.
Thereafter every snap of his shutter brought him closer to a calling he had yet to see beyond the same glossy pages he collected. Those very images from the many magazines he admired help encourage as well as inspire him to become the photographer he is today. Focusing mainly on fashion and editorial M*Knight has pushed himself to not only experiment but to create a style all of his own. With the use of light and color in his work he challenges himself to use multiple lighting styles to execute his vision.
M*Knight presents his new venture that combines all that has made him the talented individual he is today. By presenting selected pieces to showcase as not only artwork, but a representation of his technical skills as well as combining the elements of holographic motion and colors that inspire him.
